Here's some more food for the Hungry!:D

Three more B-1's going out tomorrow or monday.....

1. CummnStrkn is getting a B-1 with the "Normal" housing.

2. One is going to KatDiesel for his "Toy" Truck.

3. And the third one is going to ... ..... :D

Am I to assume there is more than one size of housing that is available? If so, I would like to know what they are. I am strongly considering getting one.

BigCarl64,

There is really only one Housing available for the B-1 Turbo. CummnStrkn has been running one of my Test/Beta Exhaust housings. It is bigger than the current one. On my truck the B-1 still spooled fairly early but the Boost curve was too low.

Since CummnStrkn is going for BIG HP numbers we decided to try that housing first. He plans on doing some Heavy towing so I am sending him the current housing. I am not sure if we will need more than the current housing. Even at 425-450HP I haven't needed to hook up the wastegate. I am preparing the hardware to enable the wastegate if and when someone needs it. Possibly a 550+HP Truck that wants to keep the boost at 55psi. It is surprising that the current housing appears to be working great on such a wide range of HP Needs.

kurts right, the big non wastegated housing is great on my truck when it's unloaded. but when i put a big trailer behind it my egt's go up pretty fast. i will see how the smaller housing compares:D

this turbo is great i was running 50psi when i was in vegas and i run 45psi at 5000'. i'm hoping to be able to set the wastegate at 55lbs with the smaller housing.

i really think kurt and his turbo god are on to something here. i've been trying to break it for the last month but this thing is bullet proof, for now.
