It's been about one month since the installation I thought now would be a good time to post my findings.
1, I bought the HX-40 with the 12cm2 housing waste gate set for around 42lbs. Easy installation, about 1 hour (I took my time).
2, Spools up around 1450 RPM and the boost build really quick! And thats with my Bombed Auto transmission!
3, Slower climb on the EGT's.
4, Total EGT's were around 1375* F @ around 90+mph Starting from 0 WOT to about 100 mph ( I didn't want to stare at the Gauge to long at that speed)
5, I'm pulling the filter minder gauge down to 65% on WOT runs were as with the stock turbo it didn't move. ( K&N filter and holes drilled in the snorkle of the air box). Hence, drawing more CFM. Now I need to Bomb the air filter.
6, Less smoke, but it still gives a good cloud when you stomp on it. It feels like another setting on my DDUFM which I like to run with the setting on five all the time which brings me to #7.
7, My fuel mileage has gone down a significant amount, I cant seem to keep my foot out of the GO pedal now (like I could before)
It's a lot of fun And I recommend this BOMB to anyone!
