Kyb Gas-adjust - Drw Still Bounces

I just installed a set of rear KYB shocks hoping to reduce the rear end pounding you get here on L. A. freeways. Although a reasonable improvement on surface street imperfections, it's a zero improvement on the freeway. If you other SoCal owners are looking for help, look elsewhere. I'm thinking Kelderman.

I just took delivery on the Kelderman rear axle system. I will be installing Tues. . I go down to the SF Bay area a fair amount & the washboard freeway between Fairfield & Vallejo rattle my teeth, not to mention the truck lane going over the Donner summit! Hoping to fix a lot of that problem.

I've run Velvet Ride Shackles on a couple of my trucks. They really take that jolt out of the rear end. Getting a pair for my 02 tomorrow.



Great product, and you'll like it on those crappy LA freeways. I took a ride in a bob tail rig down one of those freeways one day. I think my kidneys are still in that truck.

I got the Kelderman system in. Of course Murphys law was with us & it took longer than anticipated. The instructions left something to be desired, but was able to talk to the company for confirmation on some steps that were not clear. Took about 8 hours- 2 guys.



Initial response after test drive- they ride nice & dampen most of the rough stuff I had. Now I feel all the rough stuff from the front suspension! Might have to put the fronts on.



Need to do the real test down in California. May be making a trip this weekend San Francisco. If I get to do it, I'll post results.
