O. K. here's where I got them, chinese made,
http://www.hebeiltd.com.cn/?p=leds.5mm.GaAl
The part # for the yellow is 520PY9C all the specs. are there, but the voltage spec.
is wrong. For example it says 2. 0 to 2. 6 volts each, if you put 6lights in parallel,
you would need a current of 12 to 15. 6 volts to light them, our trucks run 14. 25volts
so that would seem correct, but they burn to bright for a few seconds then fade.
So I know the spec. is wrong, I run 7 lights in parallel and that is perfect. They
should last as long as you live.
I also added extra turn signals front and back, on the front I used white part #515xW8C there you put 4 lights in parallel to get your correct voltage. Yes you have to drill a lot of holes (but this is my hobby) Like in the front, you take the lower plastic
air dam off and mark your holes , 1in. to 3/4in apart 2 rows, groups of 7 for the yellow
you have to be good in souldering, I use speaker wire, you don't need thick wire because these only draw milliamps. These lights are the brightest I ever saw.
My brother has a gravel drive, stones stick in my tires then ,,I already broke 2 lights
so I seal them with #2 silicone, I cut my way into it and replace it.
in the rear I use channel angle aluminum. and red part # 520PR2C
Anybody wants to try this I will help them with advice
You wanna use blue? green? maybe the copper will advise you about that.
