whew--got 'em on and did a little test drive and everything seems a whole lot tighter(good)--will report test frindings later with a better test drive, but it seems as if I get less drivetrain clunk when shifting into R or D(DTT upgrades)---hardest part was having to drop the tank which I didn't totally and had fun putting in the bolts on the driver side other than that pretty easy install---chris

chris, got any pictures of the bars installed? I am interested in a set of bars also, just don't know which way to go. Phil

More details, Chris! Are these the same ones Steve StL worked up for us? What/Who is L&L? No welding required???

Thanks #ad

these are not the ones from Steve--you can see them at www.LandLProducts.com I had them powder coated---no welding- HEIM joints- remove the factory rear stabilizer(tank needs to be dropped), you have to drop the gas tank or at least loosen the front strap(leave the nut on) and drop the rear of the tank so you can move the tank enough to drill the 4 holes for the mounting bracket and get the bolts on(not easy, but I had 1/2 a tank of diesel, plus to drop it all the way I'd have to remove the driveshaft-didn't want to, so I decided to fight it)--undid one clamp for a wiring harness that was on the driverside on the e-brake cable and removed one clamp for the e-brake on the passenger side axle that held the cable--since I have a long bed & the brackets just fit on an angle between two frame to body mounts, but they look nice and really tighten up the rearend--there is absolutely no clunk when shifting from P to R or P to D and there used to be ever since I did the DTT upgrade----very happy so far, but more driving is needed for an overall report--the guys at L&L were really cool and talked to me about the install--and they too would like some pics of the RED SLED, so I'll get some very soon---chris
