Ladder Bars available

I know the other thread on the ladder bars got real long so some guys may not know that they are available for the long beds. Short bed should be ready soon. Check out the "other thread". They're also in the classifieds too.

Piers/anyone,

As far as the Rancho or SkyJacker ladder bars, how easy or difficult are they to install by yourself at home? And I do mean by yourself, as I am single and don't have anyone to help me lend a spare hand or wrench.

I have been burned nearly every time I have bought on price alone. If you want quality engineering and quality components you are going to pay premium prices. I have personally seen the SS bars. They are made of topshelf components and are stout rugged bars. They also work very well. The other major factor I like about the bars is that at no point do they stick below the axle. They are routed in a way that they realy can't hang on or hit anything even in extreme off roading. This is just my honest opinion, I have nothing to gain or lose from promoting these or any other ladder bars.

I used the Rancho ladder bars on my truck, worked real good, no welding required. I'll see if I can get John to post a picture of them installed. Randy's Off Road has them, tell Randy you're a TDR member & he'll sell you the kit for $325. 00. 1-360-659-5259

H. O. Ram don't think you'll see that going out at a lowball price [and I wouldn't either if I was Steve] many hours or R&D plus finding someone to make them up, distribute ect. ect... has to be some $ in it or we'll not see these cool & functional upgrades come to retail... IMHO

Looks like we're getting close to a order for the bars... need 10 orders in before Steve can get them rolling. .
these are very heavy duty and much higher quality than is available out there in retail land. . any old drag racers would vouch for the quality [for those that have doubts]
