This morning on my way to work the lamp out appeared on the dash cluster. Has anybody else had this happen??

Check your exterior lights. That is supposed to warn you if a head, parking or tail light is burned out.

Also keep in mind, bulbs are stock parts and may have been at the factory for a while. A bad bulb isn't that big a deal on a new truck.

Seriously, though, I see tons of newer GMs with running lights burned out. They must eat those things for lunch.

It might not be a bad bulb. I see alot with a wire that's not fully seated into the connector causing the lamp out light to come on.
