Lamp Out Feature

Hello, does the lamp out feature monitor all lights? I have a tag light out and it has not shown as lamp out... . Do you have to enable this feature? Thanks... ... ... . chad

the two marker lights in the front , the 5 on the roof two on the license plate and on duallys 4 on fender and the tail gate lights are not monitored and you can change these to led 's as they burn out or better still just order the amber red and white led's and change all in about 15 minutes

are the headlights and driving lights monitored?

Headlights, taillights and brake lights are the only things monitored. JR

I'm lucky if I get 6 months without the "chime" warning me of a lamp-out. It seems that it is always the taillight housing that is the problem. I clean-up the contacts with a pencil eraser & put some di-electric grease on the contacts & go for another 6 months.



I thought I heard that warranty covered a replacement bulb housing. I'm out of warranty, now, and am wondering if this is covered no matter what mileage you have on your truck.

i guess my system isn't working, i have yet to have it tell me anything and i have had a few headlights go out on me.

i ended up replacing the light bar in the taillight housing, it solved all my problems. Only about $25 ea. JR
