I replaced the driver's side front turn signal lamp due to a "lamp out" warning and failed bulb months ago. Now the turn signal / flash from lock unlock has the same driver turn signal sometimes working and sometimes not working. With the turn signal on and light not working I don't get a "lamp out" warning. Turn signal works - just the front bulb doesn't light up sometimes.

Anything specific to look for with the lamp out warning not working?

Thanks for the idea.
Bulb was good so I replaced it anyway and installed it 180 from the old one. Suspect it may have been a contact issue in the socket. So far so good.

It's back with the "Lamp out" working now. The front driver side turn signal lamp intermittently works with a fast blink now when not working. The rears are always working. The flash for keyless entry also has the one bulb out.

I am going to replace the socket. Is there anything electronic between the rear and front lamp that could cause this condition? Specifically rear lamp is working but not the front lamp.

How bout applying some Dielectric grease to the bulb contacts. See if that helps the continuity. May be corrosion in side the socket.

Pulled the bulb again. Found arcing on one of the new bulb contacts. The socket has a plug on it so it is an easy part swap without cutting wires. Problem = bad socket. Thus the circuit would conduct enough to "fool" the lamp out indicator, but, fail to have enough current to light the lamp.
