"Lamp out" light came on when applying brakes. Replaced both socket strips with mopar strips and new Sylvania bulbs. "Lamp out" still on. What next?

Some code/lights will reset after three cycles of start, driving, park etc. If it doesn't reset youo will need a scanner to reset. bg

Did you verify that it was a brake light that was out? If not, it may have been a turn signal light that burned out. I just replaced my brake lamps a week ago, and the "Lamp out" light went out immediately.

I should have posted "the end" of this earlier. A couple of days later, the high beam went out of a headlight. Replaced them both with Sylvania XtraVision bulbs and that took care of the "lamp out". I lowered them a little bit to make up for aging rear springs. They replaced some Phillips bulbs that were recommended on here. I like these Sylvanias better. Maybe I'm all lit up for the next 7 years!
