Well, as I posted in this forum, I am hoping to make it. I'll be coming over from my folks place outside Barstow/Yermo, so I'll be heading from the opposite direction form most folks.

Nope, my parents both retired from Los Angeles school district. My folks actually live off Ghost Town road, right across the highway from Silver Valley High school just outside Yermo.



My dad grew up in various places across the Mojave desert, graduated from Barstow High, and after retiring ~10 years ago, moved back out near Yermo.
