Lance 921 Questions

Anyone have a 921 (9'6")?



We found an 02, every option including sat and genset for $17k. Very clean and nice shape and the slide out adds a lot of room.



Is it a wood frame or aluminum frame? No one seems to know.

Wood framed beast. 05 is the start of the aluminum frames.



I had an 821 and it was heavier, because of the slide, than my buddies long bed non slide. (same options)



Unless you have a dually I would say look for a lighter model.

On closer inspection we noticed the slide out had a "dip" in it. Is this damage? Flaw? Normal?

I'd worry about water puddling there, and then bringing water into the unit when you closed the slide. I never looked at mine that close at that spot to remember if it was like that. I do remember the big boot touching the top though, and thought to clean off the top of the slide out to keep wear off the boot. It looks like that one doesn't touch?

I would stay away from a slide out on any camper just because of the weight, dually or not.
