Forgive my ignorance, Les, but why clutter up the cab with a permanent mount?



I've been quite happy using my laptop on the center seatback with a pad of the black waffle-pad that Wal-Mart sells for tool drawer liner. (I use the same stuff to protect the rear-seat load floor. )

Yep, clutter is one of the reasons why I've not found an acceptable solution yet.



Our truck is only used to pull the gooseneck and for general "truck stuff", trips to HomeDepot, to the dump, lumber, etc. Heck its even got roll-up windows!!



If it was a "pretty" truck, like a Laramie, I might be a little more worried about the clutter! Just kidding. I like having a place for everything and everything in its place. Currently the laptop seems to wander around a bit and I'd love to have it closer to the dashboard and angled toward me better.



I guess I'd better go wash my truck...

The Ram Mount looks good, and about half the price of a Jotto. I think it will give me the flexibility I need to position it just where I need it. Thanks tandersen.
