Laramie Full Console with bucket seats upper lid latch?

Anyone else have issue with the upper lid latch? Half the time I open the lower lid, the upper one will come unlatched and dump its contents in the back seat. I also had to glue on the coin holder, as it fails off when this happens.

Additional half the time you open the upper lid it has the same binding snap in the hinge that the 2001.5 had when new!

Yes, it takes some force to make it latch properly. I hope it works for a long time due to this tightness.

Yes, both my 2014 2500 and 3500 both have the same problem.

I think they set aside the good ones for the LongHorns

I haven't had issues with this, mine top lid stays closed, latches just fine.......which is good, given the amount of junk I have stuffed in there.

Mine hasn't come open, but I wish on a truck for this amount of money, they could have made one of the 4 compartments a "locking" one!

My Longhorn requires a bit of a firm push to get it to latch as well.
