Laramie Long Horn

Oo. I'am EXCITED NOW... just got the build date for our new Long Horn!! We 'thought' we had bought our (last) new truck when we bought the 06 Mega and then we made the mistake of watching the Kentucky Derby and there it was,The Add, yes we fell in love with the Long Horn. We looked at each other and then tried to come up with a list of reasons that we needed this truck. Well we found one(1) we had to have it! A few days of research and reviews and it was on order. One of our sons has a 2010 Laramie crew and I have been really impressed with changes since 06 in fact they aren't even in the same league. I have been following all the TDR mag articles and reviews and without exception are all great. Between the 3 of us,2 sons and us, we currently have 5 CTD's from 98. 5 to 2010 (all but the 98. 5 is a Laramie) and the 2010 is by far the nicest of the bunch. After over 1mil miles in various CTD's from 12v to 24v I am ready to get behind a new 6. 7 Long Horn. So with the Wife's blessing her 06 Mega will soon be up for sale.

I have not seen one of the Longhorn trucks yet, I feel that it is best that I don't see one till my bank account is a bit larger. I know that package would be HARD to resist.

Yep, me too. I was at my friendly local dealer last week for an oil change and walked past a Laramie Longhorn on the showroom floor twice, but didn't look at it. I knew better... avoiding temptation.

I love mine. The leather seats feel like saddle leather. It is a very think rugged feel and look.



The ride is great, it is quiet. The only thing on the new ones is that they are putting only the 430N radio and not the high end one. The high end had the satellite travel but the 430 doesn't.



The Longhorn is well outfitted and I think you will like yours, too.

Just picked up my longhorn on Sat. HO engine and all the buttons. Love it. waited about 11 weeks but it was worth it. It rides great!!!Oo. Oo. i got the 730 radio with GPS and sat radio, haven't figured it out yet though... . Plays DVD also... .

That's great that you got the 730 radio. The dealer said they weren't putting them in anymore.



The more you drive it the more you are going to like the features. I've made two long trips so far and am very impressed with the comfort and drive.



The last trip to Virginia, I averaged 18. 6 overall for 1300 miles. So I'm liking it more and more.

I have had mine since the first of february, and it has been fabulous. Not a complaint in the world with it... . 5000 miles on 'er.
