Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) larger fan pulley for more hp.and mileage?

does anybody offer a larger dia. fan pulley to slow the stock fan down and maybe free up some power and mileage on a 97' 12 valve.

I don't know about availability for different sized pulleys but have wondered the same. I think you can can get a larger hub from something like an N14, but the mounting is different. If freeing up power is your goal, taking the fan off would make a noticeable difference. A Horton or electric fans would offer similar benefits.

Yea, just take off the fan for the winter. I`ll be doing this in a month or two. .

check out flexilite electric fans. The part # is 262. U can order it through napa and the fan assymbly is set up with spots to hold up the washer fluid and radiator reservoir bottles. I have 1 on my 99 and noticed 1-2 m. p. g, depending on driving conditions ( I do mostly city driving w/oversized tires)
