Greeting again, I know my stock injectors are getting tired as I have already had to replace one. My pump settings are stock as far as I can tell and I would prefer to leave it there for longevity.
From reading the majority of post, my understanding is the larger injectors will give me a increase in power with out necessarily increasing the load on the stock pump or having to change the settings.
The Truck has reasonable power. A marginal increase in power would be nice and since I plan on replacing the injectors anyway...
Incidentally I plan on checking pump timing in the near future.
My concern though is since I live in environmentally friendly area (Denver) and reading issues of increased amounts of smoke and washer thickness, etc. What are my options and what would be the injector of choice, (I have seen quite a few post on the Lucas) Ultimately I don't want to deal with big brother and his emission circus.
thanks
Steve
