Is there any rule of thumb on how big of an injector you can use with an EZ? I'm looking at maybe EDM2's or 3's. I've done several seaches and don't see anyone using anything bigger than DDIII's with the EZ. Alot of people run the Edge Comp w/ EDM2's and 3's, any reason way I can't with the EZ? If not, would the DZ be a good choice for a turbo. BTW, I tow/haul no more that 6k. I posted this over on DTR and didn't get to many responses. Thanks

EZ/ EDM2 Combo

I am currently running that setup and so far, so good. I can tell you that I had ZERO smoke issues before I upgraded the transmission. That's not the case now. I am still running the stock HY35.

I am looking to a comp for smoke control and a boost of power (any smoke level) when I want it.

Im running the EDM Mach 2's with the EZ and to date with no problems. They are providing alot of pickup and the temps are fine. I do though produce a little smoke WOT but its very manageable. They have been very nice for towing but i haven't experienced any really steep country or warm temperatures, yet.

Not for a second! EGTs are controllable and if I need more fuel, I'll get another box. These things work well enough on thier own, so I would imagine they'll be fine with a trailer attached.

I was after usable power, not big HP numbers. Also, I wanted to be able to drive it and not have to be so concerned about EGTs. I'm happy with my decision.

In the end, it depends on how you use your truck, your driving habits and what compromises you are willing to make.

I can "drive and forget" when empty. I do not haul heavy and have not had any EGT issues yet. Time will tell.
