Well, I've about hit the limit on my 265/75 R16's, and I'm looking for something that looks tougher. I'd like to get something about 34" tall under there, but I would like to stick with the stock aluminum wheels and suspension height. I was wondering if anyone had experience with 295/75r16's or larger on the stock aluminum wheels? I wouldn't mind a little rubbing off road, but I really don't want any on level ground, as my wife would probably just let it grind when she turns... ...

thanks in advance for any input.

I am running 305-70-16s on my 02 with the factory 16x8 Al rims. They are close to a 33 x 12. 5-16. They rub the lower trailing arm slightly with tight turns to the left. I am working on correcting that, its just going slower than I want.

I currently have BFG A/T 295/75 r16's on my stock 16X8 inch rims.

I have no rubbing on full turns. It clears by a nose hair.

It (I believe) is the largest tire that can fit on a 2500.

The 305's are a bit wider so they may rub the the control arm.

Thanks guys that' exactly what I needed to know. I was trying to decide between the 295's and the 305's, I think I'll stick with the 295's.
