Larry's Heat Shield or Mallory Mount

I was wondering if there are any real differences in these two products? I know the heat shield is a good deal cheaper than the Mallory Mount, I am low on funds at the moment but just itching to add something to the old Dodge. I would like to hear anyone's comments. Thanks fellas.

Not sure if anyone is selling them at the moment. I saw a few weeks ago where they were taking orders for another batch of them. If the Mallory was the way to go I was just gonna wait until they or he was taking orders again. I guess I will go with the heat shield though since it is cheaper and basically does the same thing.

The Mallory mount is a nice piece to keep the engine heat away and Larry's will minimize the turbo heat.

I dont have any experience with either product, but Larry's looks like a super value at that low price. Im out of the running cuz I have the 40 too.

I'm using Larry's heat shield on the HX-35 with the BHAF. I don't have any hard data on effects on intake air temp, but it certainly should reduce radiant heat load from the turbine housing to the air filter and may keep some of the airflow around the turbine away from the air filter as well.
