Last day posts

I know that this not very important in the scheme of life, but, it is frustrating. How come every time I check my CP and go to look at the "Last days Posts" I get a no new posts. I would only be off line for about 1 hour. I comeback and again no active posts. When I shift to "last 2 days" a number of posts coe up that show within 2 hours of the present time. WHAT GIVES?? also is there a way to LOCK the search into "last 2 days"? Thanx, tom
