Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Last KDP question

OK, I have a 1999 24 valve that is going out of 100k miles/ 5 years in few months. Is there a possibility my 24 valve built late 1998 could have the KDP problem? I plan to remove front cover to fix if necessary. TDR issue 33 page 46, issue 38 page 136 and issue 40 pages 56 and 148 state this problem was fixed with all 24 valve engines. I can't afford not to check mine if there is any possibility that mine could be affected.

On '98 & '99s it's a flip of the coin whether you'll have a old style case. If you don't want to worry at least check it.
