Curious if anyone has experience with fitting the newer aluminum wheels from the 2000-2002 years on an older second gen CTD. I have a '97 with the chromed steel wheels. I like the look of the newer aluminum wheels. From the looks of things I think the newer aluminum wheels are slightly wider as well (bigger tires hmmm... . ).



Just not sure the things will fit. I've seen the wheels for sale in various places like ebay. The cost is hard to beat compared to aftermarket of similar quality (load handling etc. ).

A local brake and wheel shop can do the job for you. My buddy took of 50k off the back lip of the drums on my 97 and the wheels went right on with no problems...

They look great!

Just a oh-by-the-way, the 03 17" wheels will bolt right on!

Well at least they did on my 95 2500!
