Well, TST says the are slipping thier aftrmarket clutch, and that the websites ratings are pretty close, and with digital guages -- $850-$900 and no word on low boost fueling

TIMEFRAME? - before new year, (2-3 weeks)

BANKS - says 2 weeks max... 350 ft-lb torq, no word on low boost fueling - $725 - price is done deal

EDGE - no timeframe - late january minimum - for sure 100-110 HP, but is that just timing and dur. ? certainly not pressure too?

price - $900 ish --- again no word on low boost fueling

man, am I antzy

The young guy me and Buddys spoke with at the EDGE booth at the PRI show this past weekend seemed pretty confident about the edge box for the 3rd Gens. :D

My rep at Edge told me late Jan.

and it would be 125hp and it would have pressure too.

price he said would be about the same as the PS Juice

I forgot to add that quadzilla already has released the timing box for them...

race version - 140 HP - but what torque?

and is this a different way to program than Edge, tst, & banks?

do they have duration programing too?

so many questions, so little patience

I just got off the phone with jeremy at quadzilla, and the duration box is about a month out, (yeah, right)

I will believe it when I see it!

I'm looking forward to the TST box myself. Only worry is how an auto will hold up to that power if they are slipping an aftermarket clutch.

Does anyone know if the TST will be an adjustable box?

Fuel Stretch Module

Sorry for the mis-information you recieved from my shop. I will handle this.

We do not have plans at this time to do a fuel stretch module. We are working on some cool stuff, but I wouldn't look for it until April or so.

Once again sorry for the mis-information.

I will only put TST or Edge on my truck. However, I am upset with edge b/c they got worked on the Ford box before ours. I will go with the TST if it comes out before the Edge! I am tired of the next month responses from Edge and them saying can't tell the approx. hp at this time etc. It pisses me off. They could say that it is showing prelim hp and torque of ... ... ... . They are leaving up in the dark so the more i type the more i think i will go with TST. i like the adjustable torque setting :D

here here catcracker. I'm with you on the TST preference.

And the "torque" versus "HP" adjustment must be low end fueling as opposed to peak HP -- power enhancement that comes in at lower RPM. That will be a great bonus. I'm hearing that Edge and Bullydog are great dyno lookers (peak HP) but require high rpms.

kind of a misnomer to say that "torque" is adjusted separately from "HP" though. at any given RPM, torque and HP are directly proportional to each other -- one goes up by 30%, so does the other. They must be refering to "low end" versus "high rpms"

is it true banks is like ford and always boost there actual hp and torque ratings... . then you dyno it and its about 1/3 lower than they advertise... . a buddy told me thats what they do...

Well I am going to hold out for the EDGE, yes it has taken awhile but I have to respect them for not just throughing something out their.

And when you say they did Ford and left us sit I think you are wrong, maybe the ford was just that much easier the reprogram and get right. Edge started with Dodge if I remember right and I don't think we are taking a back seat to anyone.

When it comes right down to it none of us "need" the extra power any way, so what is a little waiting... ..... I know I really don't need any more power then the EZ gives me, but what the heck... .

Banks and Ford advertise their products based on flywheel horsepower. This is not an uncommon practice. They're telling the truth and more importantly telling people what they want to hear.

I think the TST box has the ability to set a max on both your torque and HP. To lower the torque number would give less power bottom end and to lower the HP would give less power top end. I don't understand the need for a max HP setting. We all know it is torque that twists off transmission parts and slips clutches so why the need to limit max HP?

Well... i think I will wait for the TST box with 150HP (why get a boat when you can have steamliner)

my main point is that - I WILL NOT BUY A BOX WITHOUT SOME SORT OF LOW BOOST FUELING... I miss my comp sooo bad. .

If tst has the torque come on sooner than the EDGE, I will go that way,

On a side note, banks guy told me the HO will thier new chip hits 840ish ft-lb torq at only 1800 rpms, not to shabby, but I will be a little leary (sp) about the banks because of past false claims

if you go the the banks website www.bankspower.com , their "claims" are posted as REAR WHEEL horsepower.

i would like to know the real story here... . i heard there was a lawsuit against banks for making false claims about their horse/torque claims
