latest rumblings on the NEW TIMING BOXES?

i run a website for my business and we pay about 50 bucks a month for it... thats near a big city though... maybe they dont have a high speed modem available in there area.

visiting there site i wonder if they shrunk that pics they took of the products. if those where taken with a 5 mp camera each on of them pic could be about 700000 bytes





Just thinking of why there site is so slow... . sorry carry on

You have to admit that posting a single page with:

New Site Under Construction and a short blurb to be patient or something would be far better than showing the inability to remedy the trouble. Its not because its new, the old site loaded the same way for the past several months that I know of.



Their past products may speak for themselves and I

very much like the Attitude box's looks but how do we know R&D in that unit is top notch when the store front is in the shape it is?



Web site design and hosting is cheap including all the shopping cart integration software. Sure it can be costly if you choose the wrong people but dang... you wouldn't want the repair shop to turn your truck back over to you barely running.

The site should be fixed or sent to the shop and not be on-line for everyone see how awful it is.

My computer is less than a year old, how about a little more incite Greg... . what modem do you have and what are you connected at? Also besides loading that one page did you try and navigate the site any?

if you loaded it in 24 secs. , then it had to cached on your hard drive.



I have cisco hardware and 1. 5 mb download speed and their page still wasn't loaded when I got done posting last nite.



It doesn't matter where edge is, they can pay for top notch service and locate the server there.



TDR is not ran out of robins' house, they have upgraded their setup as needed.



Edge could do much better.



Now, their products do look nice, and everyone says they are good. I may even try one someday.



Just think the "Storefront" could be kept better.

i just went to their website. i have a broadband connection that just tested at 2. 5meg and it took 1 full minute before anything showed up. thats not a problem on my end. the problem is where their server is connected. it is obviously not on broadband, T1 or fractional T1.



try this if you want to test your connection speed. it may not work for everybody but it should give you some idea.

I knew my cable modem was faster than some of my friends, but deeezamn! Mine was 1243. 5 Kbps

I tested mine 3 times. the first was 2989 kbps, and the other 2 were 3125 and 3089. Could this be correct.



I am on Cox cable modem using wireless to my laptop.

when you run the test the first time, a temp file is saved to your computer and then sent back to gauge speed. on the second and subsequent tests the speed may be faster because that file is already "there" and is immediately read and sent back. erase your temporary internet files before running the test again if you want the most accurate numbers.



Caution: don't erase your cookies or you will loose your auto login feature to the TDR. its no big deal as long as you remember your password.

I was able to get on the Edge Site.



The only item they list for the 03/04 CTD is the Edge EZ.

The only items listed for previous models are the EZ and the Comp.



The first page for the dodge has a picture of the Attitude with 120 HP gain and 350 Tq gain , but when the 03 or the 04 is selected, there is no other info.



It appears to just be a teaser.

i emailed my Edge rep yesterday and he said they are sick of the passing dates and they have working prototypes with minor surging problems. And they hope to release within a month(heard that one before )

also part of the delay is the release of the 600, they want to see if they can make it work on it too.



he ended by saying "So hopefully soon, but you never know. "
