Our great government... who remembers this??

old outboard motor repair needed

I'm looking for something to put down to fertilize and slow weeds, but I have some grass patching planned for a few weeks from now after the final frost. Can anyone recommend something good to put down right now that won't mess with the germination of new seed within 2-4 weeks?

Thanks

Anything from Scotts brand will do wonders for your lawn and wont hurt the new grass seed. I've tried many different brands and IMO, Scotts is the best.

Their formulas come in tiny granules instead of the larger round balls and it just seems to stick to the soil/lawn better.

They have many different variety's based on the time of year and your specific needs.

Hope this helps,

Louis

Thanks for the help. I got the basic turfbuilder without any weed preventer. It says it won't bother new seed germination. I mowed for the first time (which smelled quite nice) and then threw it on. Hopefully I don't have dandilion alley until I can put weed preventer down in 6 weeks.
