Those little plastic pads between the leaves at the tips.

They are worn out after 150k so it's metal on metal. I'm having a hard time finding replacements. Anyone have a P/N or a link to some?

Thanks

Most any light/medium duty truck spring shop will have a suitable aftermarket replacement available for you at a very reasonable cost. Be careful installing them, springs will bite!

+1 there! Leaf springs aren't quite so bad; but as grandad told me when I was a teenager:

"The average coilspring can do about three laps around the walls of the garage before embedding itself in your forehead. "

That graphic has always stuck with me for some reason...

Thanks for the heads up, I'll be dropping the U bolts to put in my Carli spring packs :D Oo. , So they should be easier then.

Very true... ... ... . there was a recall some years back where you were supposed to separate the leaves to install a new style silencer pad. They sent them to one of the shop rookies where he promptly lost 2 front teeth and a nd left quite the blood trail before he stopped running around like the proverbial chicken with his head cut off
