Oh gotcha! :D In that case, I have had some that were dead on and some were off slightly. Just loosen the 8mm headed bolt and give it some wiggle room in case it needs it. In any event, do not forget to tighten the 8mm bolt back up. They vibrate loose very easy and then the lines break.

Thanks Lloyd.

I'm not uncomfortable using a regular wrench after seeing how heavy the nuts are... I was more worried about pinchiing the nut. My point about the bracket is whether the installed bracket is positioned correctly, and whether I should install it loose, tighten the line, then tighten the bracket on the line?

It all happened under stress that day, that I can't remember if it was #4 or #5... I will scrutenize those two lines when they are removed.

Tigthen the Line fittngs 1st than the brackets, Be Very careful not to lossen the nuts on the connect tubes. . You need to align the lines with the Brackets, the fittings are very forgiving , the Brackets are not.

Well, got five of the six line replaced... I thought two of them look suspiciously alike...

#4 seemed fine... looked like rust was getting up in the nut's threads?? But the line itself seemed fine...

#2 is a PITA to reach... had to remove the intake horn... probably pull it again and replace the gasket because I'm anal.

I found the bracket on #6 was loose... nut was finger tight, but its not a self locking nut so it most likely vibrated loose.

There was no change, except there is no leak... injector tap is still there and now I'm pretty sure it is affecting the way it runs. Pulling under WOT, you can see it puffing smoke from the culprit... and its pretty gutless. I also have a bump in the exhaust note that is eerily like that when I initially had injector problems. Its also smoking at cruise (steady throttle), which is kinda odd IMO.

I am going to check it over the next couple days... but I'm a little uncomfortable driving to Florida the first of December. At this point, I'm at a loss... new FCA, new crank and cam position sensors, new injectors, injectors retested... and it still doesn't run correctly. My cruise is starting to giving a buck from time to time, which new injectors cured originally.

I'm at a loss... and frustrated.
