Leak?

Got underneath Big Green today and saw a film of oil on the front part of the oil pan with some on the transmission lines to the cooler right below- I do not know if this from the last oil change at the dealer when maybe there was some spillage- this was over a month ago- no dripping on the driveway it is just there- do the pan bolts need to be retorqued? Truck was purchased in late December 01 and has 12k miles- Thanks

I would assume that the new trucks still have the blowby bottle for the engine breather located on the front of the motor. If you have one,that would be my guess as to where the oil residue came from.

check the pan bolts

I had a small leak at the back of my oil pan. I cleaned the pan up, torqued the bolts down, and the leak is gone.

I will roll it into the dealer and have them check and I will climb under there tonight and see if there is anymore since I wiped it down
