I have a 93 4x4, extended cab LE that has bad
air and water leakes around each of the doors.
I have had it a two different body shops for adjustment, pin replacement and new door seals and still have the noise and water leaks.
Could someone please advice me on this annoying problem.

Olebum with the door open lift up on the lower out side coner and see if there is still play in the hinge. The hinge pin is very hard, in my case the wear was in the hinge itself. If this is the case there are over size bushing that can be put in the hinge or just replace the hinge. To check for correct seal contact with the door place a piece of newspaper between the a-pillar and the door. With the door closed you should be able to feel a slight drag as the paper is pulled. Good luck.

I can also attest to a leakin' door on a '93. The passenger side is fine, but the drivers side is bad. When I wash the truck, the seat gets wet! There is a large gap at the top of the door, but I can't move the top in any further. When I got the truck, the first thing I did was to replace the lower hinge, but found that the plate the hinge is mounted on isn't connected to the door on one side, its broke. Maybe it can be welded, but I don't know. With that new hinge, the door opens and closes with minimal effort, but I don't want a water leak! I wish those engineers at Dodge would of come up with a better design. My old '88 was the same.

I don't think I had a leak problem, drivers side mat wet in winter, figured it was water off my boots. What I did notice was that when closing both doors, when they were nearly closed, they'd lift close to 3/32". Made up a couple of 0. 060" spacers to go between the door frame and the hinge. Did it last fall, so far no more wet mats, and the doors close nicely.
