2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission leaking drive shaft?

I have a leak that apparently seems to be from the drive shaft. It is ATF from the transfer case but its not leaking at the seal but rather from the joint side piece that slides into the transfer case. It is a single section driveshaft with a big damper on the xfer case end. I am guessing that it must be leaking from the inside as it is completely dry on the transfer case side of the damper.



Anyone had this before? How did you fix it? any ideas will be welcomed.

Are you saying it appears to be leaking through the yoke? And how much is it leaking? is the driveshaft just wet are is the enitire underside soaked in fluid???

Yes, it seems to be leaking thru the center of the yoke. No it is not sloshed just striped across the gas tank and bottom of bed.
