After I did the vent kit install, whenever I fill the tank and then park the truck, the tank now leaks. It's coming from someplace on top. Haven't been able to figure it out due to the lack of space up there to see where it's coming from. It's basically small 6" puddle after about 4 hours. Of course it goes away once I use up some fuel.

Anybody else had this problem?

I'd look at the plastic nut and seal for the sending unit assembly. The nut needs to be snug but if you overtighten it or it is slightly cross threaded it will leak. Drive it until its low on fuel again to drop the tank or remove the bed to check it. make sure you check out the "Check your fuel tank today" thread about the vents in the top of the tank. Mine were wide open. Ken Irwin

I did the vent mod about six months ago and never had a problem untill about a week ago. I had read about the vents on top of the tank, and had purchased the 1/4 inch fuel line and filter to keep water out of my tank. I just havent had time to install it. I have been on the road and noticed that my rear axle and tank were wet and smelled of #2. The front topside vent was the leaker. I installed the fuel tank vent----vent line mod with a band clamp on the front to make sure it would hold, and that took care of the problem.
