Ok I need some help here. In March I upgraded to AN fittings from the L. P to the VP44. Thanks to Rip for the great service in getting them to me by the way. Currently I have a leak somewhere with these fittings. The line from the L. P to the filter housing is covered and the line to the VP44 is covered as well. Running B100 I have found that any leak is a huge mess, the lines are covered with something that resembles tar. I plan on replacing the fuel lines and was wondering what I can do to stop these fittings from leaking.

Is there a special thread sealant? Maybe new washer type gaskets like the ones that come with banjo bolts? I don't remember if I put the washer type gaskets on or not, slept a little since March. I did find out that I need a new water drain on the filter housing came close to not gettin that thing to close this time.

The 12mm fittings that goes in the filter canister and the 44 have a special washer on it, if that's not on there, leak!!! No sealant on my set-up. I assume you used the blue push-lok hose on -6 fittings like my RASP has? You have to snug them up once in awhile to keep em from leaking. Or, as I did once on the race car, tighten it too much and you will crack the inside flare on the female fitting, not good. :{ You have to use a AN wrench.
