This site has again made my subscription worth every penny. Father-in-law's 99 ate another lift pump (airtex) and I finally talked him into letting me put an Airdog on. Everthing was great til he took it to town and fuel started spraying out the tank. The tank was VERY pressurized. Did a search and found leaking coppers on the injectors as a possible culprit. It made no sense to me, but knowing this site I ordered RV's for him. All 6 were leaking and problem solved! Who would have thought that a leak at the injector/head would pump air into the tank? One common factor I found in the search is that it tends to show up or become noticeable after a Airdog/Fass install. Why would that be?

My 99 also just started doing the same thing (spray fuel out the vent; with the filler cap off you can see a fog in the filler tube).

I don't have Air Dog/Fass.
I do have a Walbro pump and bypass regulator (fuel pressure is rock solid and normal) and I have the Quad Adrenaline, Smarty, & RV-275's . . but none of that is "new". I have over 100k miles on the injectors.
