Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) leaking injectors after install

well I got rough running problem fixed I took out all injectors and redid install but now it seems like all injectors are leaking at the 19mm nut could I have overtightened them I had 1 lose and it was leaking bad and running rough I tightened and it went away but I cleaned off motor ran down street and it is wet under each injector I have changed injectors 3 times now and never had a problem till these

I believe the 19mm inj lines tighten to 30-35 inch lbs but I'm not positive. They need to be pretty snug. I suppose you could have over tightened them. I'll go out to the garage & start looking in the bible for the correct tq if no-one chimes in.

thanks they are tight as I can by hand the one that was leaking was a tad lose and it poured out all over truck had to go wash whole truck diesel was everywhere anyway it may only be 1 injector leaking but cant tell they do not leak at idle it is only when I go down the road so i think I will have to have someone in truck giving gas to see

went out to go look for leak again truck did not want to start cranked for 10 sec let liftpump cycle then cranked for couple secs and it started held gas to about 2000rpm and could see no leaking out of injectors but did notice white smoke out of exhaust which I gueass could be from air in line which is why it was hard to start but obviously there is a leak or air would not have been in system now I am stumped help help help

okay think I got all leaks fixed it appeared #4 was not seating to connector tube good. let it idle and went for ride and it still looks dry. Now new problem after truck sits it doesnt want to start I have to cycle lp then crank for a couple seconds it seems to run fine what could problem be???????? is air still getting in or are injectors leaking into oil help please it is driving me nuts
