Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) leaking transmission

My transmission started leaking last week, it leaking where the transmission and transfer case connect. Based on the service manual it looks like there’s a seal there which is most likely the culprit however is leaking pretty heavy (about a pint per day) so could there be another problem?

I use the truck primarily for heavy towing and have been considering a transmission upgrade but have held off because I haven’t had any issues with the transmission prior to this, maybe it’s time to make the move.

there is a seal on the trans output shaft and one on the tcase input shaft, pull the t case and you will be able to see it clearly
