leaky air cooler

Looking for info on possible repair or aftermarket cooler. Dealer says replacement is 800+. Cummins says part is nonservicable and must be replaced. Also saw someone somewhere had a custom one from auto wurks diesel. Anyone know their web adress or phone.

I'd say if it has some small leaks, they could be soldered at a radiator shop. If its smashed up, no.

Tom, I know a guy who ran a branch though his cooler, had it repaired at a radiator shop, cost $45. Just make sure to back flush it with compressed air before reinstalling to flush any crud out.

if your going to do the swap make sure and use the 24 vavle aircooler, they are more efficiant than the 12 valve version. They have 2 more rows and bigger viens for more flow.
