Leaky Fan Clutch when laying down

I have never seen a fan clutch leak before and they are laying flat at the auto parts house when you buy them but I think the trick is dont lay them down with the engine side down. I have had mine laying in the garage for 5 months with no leak and then moved it and it got turned over on to the other side and it seeped a little fluid out so store them with the big attaching nut up.

deezle1 is correct , it says right on the front "store this side down" that makes the nut in the up position... ... ... Kevin

Upright is ok also since this is the way it is when installed on the truck
