Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Leaky Trans Case

My transfer case is leaking fluid out of the front drive seal. Has anyone had this problem? What did you do to fix it? It leaks quite badly. I haven't used 4x4 that much so I'm not sure why it would leak. Maybe some gravel got in there.



Unrelated: I don't have overload springs on my truck. I need something, hopefully inexpensive, to help keep the rear of the truck off the ground.

Age can also make seals leak even if not used much. Mine leaked a tiny bit when I went synthetic but then it stopped. Of course there could be other problems too. Make sure your drive flange is tight.
