Leaving The Third Gen Crowd

Well, I decided I wanted a new Challenger so bad that I sold my Mega Cab so that I could buy one. It was a VERY hard decision that I constantly had second thoughts about, but I finally came to a decision. I'm driving it down to San Jose this weekend so the new owner can take delivery of it. I love everything about the truck and have not had one complaint about it, I would reccommend a 3rd gen to anyone having doubt's... I've always been a classic Mopar guy but Chrysler just hasn't had anything like the old cars until now. And... I was able to get a very nice 96 12 Valve that will be just as fun as my 06 once I get done with it. :-laf It was an Awesome truck and I hope the new owner has as much fun with it as I have had. Hopefully I'll be able to get 500HP out of the new 12 Valve anyway.



Oh yeah! I got to blow the doors off of one last Duracrap on Friday. It was a good way to finish it off.

I am jealous!!! If I didn't like my truck so much and need it to haul the bikes around, that new challenger would tempt me also. Post pics of it when you take delivery so I can drool all over my computer again :-laf.



As I think of it though... if the right 1998 12 valve extended cab 4x4 came along, I could be tempted to do the same thing as you

The Challenger that I ordered is a black on black 09 Six Speed SRT8. I went to the local Dodge dealer to look at the 08 Challenger they had and they wanted $20,000 OVER INVOICE (Just because they only made 6400 08's is why they wanted so much). They're supposed to be making a lot more for 09 plus with an 09 you're able to get the stick which is a must for me. The dealer I ordered it through is selling it to me at MSRP and they said it should get here around October (Hopefully).



But, about selling the 06... Anything thats got a Cummins under the hood is good in my books whether it's an old first gen or a brand new Dodge, I don't care, they're all awesome. I'll post pics of the Challenger once it's arrived, along with the 96.

Wow, those Challengers are really nice looking. Saw a black one on the road the other day and it just looked MEAN.

A marco tuned 6. 1 liter hemi challenger? kick me, i think i am dreaming. If/when I get a challenger I will be the first one in line for a tuner for this. .
