LED Dash Bulbs?

I would like to brighten up the dash for my tired old eyes without burning up the bulb sockets. Anyone found LED bulbs to replace the kind used in 1st gens. I looked at the sites mentioned in the acc page but only got confused by the selection. Plan to get some for my trailer though. They were easier to make out.

Not about LED type lamps, but should solve your problem.

I replaced about 6 of my bulbs in the instrument cluster part of the dash--two were burnt out, and 4 were pretty marginal looking. It wasn't too tough taking the dash apart to get in there, but it was an absolute *royal* pain in the rear getting it put back together again!



One of the things I didn't see mentioned in the other thread was that the bulbs for my '92, according to my service manual, need to be PC194. I think the "PC" stands for plastic connector, or something like that because they have a little gray plastic base on them.
