Anybody seen one of these yet???????? 1000 hours on 4 d cells - if bright enough - that's fantastic.....

I love mine that I got from the sportsman's guide. I've had them for a year or so and they work great.

I've got the 30-LED and the 12-LED versions. The 30 has hi/low and the 12 has a 4-position dimmer. Much better than fluorescent, but not as bright as a Coleman gas lamp.

Those really look neat - if a person wanted more focused light, I bet you could mount a semi-circle of shiny aluminum foil on the inside to increase output in a 180 degree area...



I back all the outside lights on our 5er with foil - it really brightens the light output...

If you want an LED headlamp, the princetontec EOS is great, just bought one and is worth the 38-40 bucks!
