I got my intermittent ground problem on the cab lights worked out and finally got around to a few pix for those who've been asking. The lighting can be purchased at Parts Systems

The tail lights are also equipped with 15 lamp LED replacements.

Were the 15's the largest that would fit in the tailight assembly? I'm working on changing all my lights over. Looks good.

Lurch- The largest 3157 style LED replacement lamps have 15, unless I missed something in my exhaustive search. Many of the ones I found only housed 12 LED's. BTW- the cab lights each have 22 LED's- 10 in front and 12 on top. I am working on also replacing the reverse lamps with Amber LED lamps and using them as turn signal indicators. The amber are a bit tough to come by right now.

Part #'s

Could someone tell me what the part # they used for the Tail lights and if they are plug in 3157 or twist in 1157. and what is the part # you use for the LED replacements

The 1157's as 40 Led are interesting- I don't know how the heck youd fit something like that in there. I got mine from a local Electronics shop, 15 LEDS 3157 SR is the model number I think they are made by Cool Lights. I paid about $30 or so for them. They make amber but they are hard to find. I am going to try tomorrow and get a hold of the manufacturer/distributer and see if I can order direct. Maybe if enough are interested we can get an order together if they'll do it. Otherwise I'll give more info about where I got mine tomorrow. ;)

L.E.D lights

I just purchased the newest style out ( clear lenses with colored led) looks very cool, you cant even see what color they are unless you hit the brake or have the park lights on . I purchased mine from earls luber finer here in baltimore . They also make custom lights if you want them. I needed turn /run lights for the side of my trailer ,But you cannot see leds from the side so the guy there said he will make a set for me with mirrors in them . They work great and look very, cool those guys sur know what they are doing.

BTW i think i only paid like 6 or 8 bucks a piece for the markers.

the stock lights are that much if you get the good ones by ( Truck lite ). Also L. E. d lights only use abou 1/100 th of the power conventional lights do ,easy on alternater.
