We have a 28' equipment trailer at work we use for moving props and gear, and there isn't very much lighting on it. Being the add on junkie that I am :D , I offered to wire it up for the boss. I went to a local truck shop and looked at "truck-lite" and "Grote" lighting products for tractor trailers. They did a great demo but when it came to how much it was more "Holy SH*%!!!" Anyone know of a less expensive outlet for getting this type of lighting? Wouldn't mind having it on my own as well. But at about $20 ea for the marker lamps, it ain't cheap!!

Sure you weren't being hosed? I didn't get the marker light prices for my flatbed, they were included, but the STT Stop Tail Turn) 4" LEDS were only $15 each. $20 for the markers sounds high, but like I say I didn't get quoted seperate prices on those.

Kev, Try Wolo Manufacturing www.wolo-mfg.com . They offer a 10 light LED strip light in either amber or red. The lights measure 3/4" x 14" and are a two wire hookup. They can be wired together to make one long strip. They retail for about $15. 00 each. You should be able to find them at any auto parts chain. -Glen
