I decided to use Beamtech H13, LED, fanless bulbs.
Plenty of very good feedback with these. Almost all stated there were no issues with flickering.
I was hesitant, because in 2006(the year of my truck), they changed the lighting electronics.
Sure enough, I got the dreaded flicker. But, for about 15 seconds it was a very crisp and white light, it started to flicker, then it shut off. Compared with the halogen on the other side, it was a night and day difference. The halogen was yellow looking compared to the LED. The LED was very bright. But, it was quick lived.
I now have a request for a pair of resistor pigtails, from Beamtech. They advertise that they will send them free of charge if there are issues.

I had the same issue (but I don't think it was same company). Regardless, I received the (free) resistors and put them in and they work perfectly. Be sure to clock the bulbs correctly (if necessary) and I also found my high and low beams were switched - I just switched the wires at my connector and they work as they should. You will like them I am sure - the LEDs made a big diff for me. I also put LEDs in the fog lights as well.

Which ones did you use for the fog lights?

SEALIGHT 9006/HB4 LED Fog Light Bulbs, 6000K Xenon White, 27 SMD Chips, 360-degree Illumination, Non-polarity, Pack of 2 at Amazon for about 20 bucks. They are the same brand as the headlight bulbs I bought.

I'm waiting on resistor pigtails from Beamtech.
These are the same LED's that I installed on my truck. The pigtails from Beamtech are the ticket. You will like this setup!
You might also think about upgrading the interior lights to LED, a big difference.

The Beamtech Resistors came in today, and I installed the LED's. I had to play with them a little, and the left has a little dead spot. I think if I do the adjustment, like the instructions say, it will cure that issue. Much brighter, and a whiter light. Zero blue notes to the new lights. When I was screwing with the bulbs, and resistors, I noticed those resistors get hot, fast. I zip tied them away from anything they didn't need to touch.
On the whole, an inexpensive upgrade.

I had to clock the bulbs so that the chips were at the 3 and 9 o'clock position (IIRC) and that fixed the pattern/dead spots.
