Not many know his family started a local/regional hot dog chain, Yocco's. I did not know this, I grew up in Allentown. It's on my list to visit (Yocco's) when I'm up there this month. Was one my occassional "things to do" with my kids when I lived there.

I had an 86 Plymouth Caravan with a 5spd standard trans and 2.? 4banger motor. It was fun to drive and got amazing fuel mileage.

Can't swear to it, but I think he was force
in Ford that launched Mustang. So, he was a true GIANT in the American automotive industry. And, since I'm a lifelong Mopar guy, he's the reason I still have Mopar today.

RIP Lee!

Cheers, Ron

Ron,

I had a 1985 Caravan 2.2L 5 speed that I bought from employer maybe 1991 or so as a used company vehicle for $500. Right place right time. I ran it until 1997 I think and ran the snot out of it. Biggest project I did to it was convert it from that POS carb to a fuel injected engine with take off parts from an Omni I think, cyl head, pump, computer, manifolds and that non matching wiring harness. Block stayed in chassis.

Maybe he pointed in the direction of the CTD, Prowler, PT Cruiser and they went the way he pointed, don't know.

But if you can find a better car, buy it.

Gary
