For anyone living in the San Francisco Bay Area and looking for a trustworthy shop to work on your truck, I had Left Coast Diesel rebuild my transmission using all Goerend parts, upgrade my steering linkage to the '08 upgrade kit and replace my original ball joints with Carli's. The service was top notch and Erik and his crew were great to work with. Some of the work I could have completed myself but since the transmission needed to be rebuilt (beyond my expertise), I decided my time was better spent working so I had them do the '08 upgrade. My truck drives like a dream and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. On time, no punches pulled and within the original estimate. I highly recommend them.

Haven't been in there in a few years, but Erik is first class. Whatever I needed, he'd make sure it got done without upselling any nonsense. I remember one time I had my truck in there and was on crutches, was going to be waiting but made me feel at home, hooked me up with wifi and offered to buy me lunch while I waited. Great knowledgeable shop, glad you had a great experience too.

Last time I was in there before I moved out of state he showed me the 67' Chrysler they were doing a 12 valve conversion on. I wonder what ever came of that?
