left over parts after exhaust brake install

A buddy just dropped his truck off at the dealer to have a jacobs exhaust brake put on. I remeber reading that when it is installed there will be some old parts leftover such as the old belt etc etc. does anyone know what those parts are exactly, I'd like to get them off him as spares. better me then the dealer
