Several months ago our window quit operating. I don't if it is in connection with the cab interior controller (a flash problem) or do we just need to check the servo motor? I've worked on the manual "roll up & down" windows but I have never needed to tackle newer generation electric windows. All the other windows work fine (06 2500). Any ideas / suggestions? Also, the passenger master won't operate the window. Thanks. Bob

Do all the windows work from the driver side master panel?

Check the cabling on the left rear door inside the rubber boot. Very common for one or more wires inside that boot to be cut simply from using the door.

cheap fix that worked on my wifes 300c; while holding the window switch down, slam the door a couple of times. If that works, run the window up and down about 30 times. The contacts sometimes get dirty, and the slam jars it enough to make a connection.

I 2nd the broken wire stuff. I had the same issue, but the rear speaker wouldn't work.

I would have thought that it would have happened to a door that gets opened more often, like the drivers door.

Had to solder new wires from the body connector to the inner door area.

Pull back the rubber cover and look for yourself.

my vote is for the broken wires.

my speaker and/or door lock wires have broken THREE times now. i am about to rewire the entire assembly from door to connector

Good to know. The passenger side front window switch sometimes doesn't work, but the window can be controlled by the driver's side switch. But if I hit a good bump, it works again. Guess I'll check for a loose connection.
