Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Less Smoke

How many have put in new injectors and now have less smoke and a smaller puff of smoke at start up.



With my 275 injector install these are the things I have noticed along with a nice kick in the pants. Course Dodge replace the injection pump and reflashed 18-014-01 just before I installed the injectors.



All I know is it runs like a bat out of #@!! now. Left the EZ set to #3 and I really like the combo of EZ and 275's.

The little HY turbo is probably spooling a little quicker now. Truth is your probably getting more smoke just for a shorter duration.



I just put 275's in the 02. I had the trans modified and put on a Piers modified HY at the same time though so I lost any base line I had. I'll have to get some weight behind it once to see how much smoke it will make. That and the cooler weather isn't the best for making black clouds.
